The Association of Towns Awarded the Europe Prize General Assembly
In May, on the tenth anniversary of Polish local government
reactivation, the representatives from
26 European cities debated the problem of fighting social pathologies.
At the same time the International Youth Forum "Drug and alcohol free Europe in the third millennium" took place where young people from Germany, Austria, Hungary, France, Portugal and Poland discussed issues connected with education and
popularization of counteracting alcoholism and drug addiction between
teenagers.
